Finally paid for a better breakfast.
It's a funny thing that this hotel have two classes of breakfast - one to the local, and one international. I didn't know there are double standard treatment when I booked the hotel online.
Roamed the streets. Seeing ladies tending their nutmeg stall. Apparently the locals loves nutmeg, especially cab drivers.
Their shopping area. Feels alot like Bugis in Singapore. Lots of small shops.
Had lunch at this cafe "Coffee Time" Food is not bad. And we had the rose tea which taste like hot "bandung"
After lunch, we venture Dadonghai beach. It is another nice beach, unlike Sanya beach which is quiet and less bustling. Anyway after looking at the three beaches in Sanya, would say most beaches look alike :) But I am sad to say the Chinese do not manage beaches as well as Thai's, Indo's, or Msians.
Our simple dinner again.
Took the boat ride for the countdown. It's really cold as I wasn't prepared for the cooler temperature at night.
I was in shorts and tank top the whole day. :) Almost frozed.... :)
After that we returned to our hotel. Surprised the beach came alive. Oh, actually the Russians have an event there for the countdown to 2010.
We had our own celebration and bought fire-works to let off. :) It was our 1st time as letting off fireworks is illegal in Singapore.
It was a great experience.
And a nice ending to 2009, and a warm welcome to 2010. :)
