Batam Holiday Inn

Decided to go for a short getaway with my family...

We finally chose Batam, since we have not been there before.

After checking out reviews, we selected Holiday Inn.

And we did not regret our choice.

Although the hotel is old, but was at least well maintained and clean.

The rooms were huge with living room area to hang out and watch TV.

Basically they have all the Singapore channels, so we do not feel we were away from home.

There is also a dining area where we can enjoy in room service.

The swimming pool was great for the kids... With slides, water play area, even a small sand playground, which suffice our little ones needs...

There's also a panda club which is sizable. In fact I felt it was better than the one in Westin bali, and we paid a bomb for that trip.

The tea tree spa was also decent... Thumbs up!

After this trip, I feel Batam trip to be even more enjoyable than Bali trip.

It is definitely a good choice for a short getaway from the bustling of the city.

Yup there's nothing fantastic about the shopping malls in Batam :)
