Pita Bread
It's healthy lunch time again.
This time we had pita bread with chicken.
The bread was so dry I would only eat one.
Should have brought other condiments like mayo, cheese, other sauces...
A mountain of Pita bread queuing up to be toasted...
I personally like this photo... :)
It's just too healthy! And dry... :)

Salads...
It's such a humid/hot weather today, decided to just stay in, enjoy the aircon, and have a light lunch :)
Had the chef salad from food barn... it's pretty good and refreshing, while my colleague had the caesar salad :)
On 12th November - After a month of the previous salad meal. I am starting to fall in love with Food Barn Salad, that I even crave for it weekends, and always wonder why there's no food barn nearby my house :)

Happy Birthday Dad! 10.10.10 - The most cheezy thing I done in my entire life
Yes I know, this is really a very cheezy gift.
But it depicts very well what I feel about my dad.
In my eyes, he's the best!
And life is short.
Sometimes when we feel like telling someone he/she's great, do it, before we regret in future. :)
So, here it is.
Taking the opportunity to thank a great Dad on his birthday!
He deserves this award for all the sacrifices and unconditional love for me these 32 years.
Noticed I did not only state this year, cause I want it to be valid every year.
I appreciate him even more now that I am a mother myself.
Indeed parenthood is tedious and last a lifetime.
It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was."

Pâtisserie Glacé
Very good fruit tart !
Especially the base. Love the crust...
The last I tried was their Mont-Blanc which I thought was unique... The chestnut mousse was flavourful but not too sweet for my liking.
This time round, decided to try their all fruits range, which I thought was nice, but ordinary as compared to their Mont-Blanc.
Still I am impressed with the beautiful displays of cakes at the shop.
Japanese are usually very good at packaging and the details, which explains how pretty each of their cakes look.
As for their cheese tarts, the base crust literally saved it :)
Without it would also just taste ordinary.
How To Find them:

Food Barn Waffles
Recently I have breakfast near office every Wednesday.
Decided to try other menu on Food Barn today.
Being a pancake/waffle fan, I decided to try out the waffles today.
It's a hearty breakfast I must say, cause I was so full, I could not eat lunch.
Should have either skip the scramble eggs of the sausages! - Well, women are fickle-minded, so chose both :)

KOI Cafe
Why is it so popular?
Only like the Hazel Nut Milk Tea though...
And also particular like the ability to choose the sugar level, which is good if you are more health conscious but still want to drink bubble tea :)
The queue at AMK central is getting ridiculously long.
Anyhow, we still queued.
And went for dinner first, before coming back to collect about half an hour later.
A good strategy if you do not want to stand around the shop to wait for you cup of
KOI :)
The hazelnut milk tea, at 50% sugar level is just nice for me, with the sweetness not covering the flavour of the hazelnut. The tea aroma is great, and the hazelnut flavour compliments the tea, and NOT covers it. The hazelnut flavour is strong and superb.
Great for hazelnut and milk tea lovers :)
Try the hazelnut milk tea, I can assure you you will know why it's more expensive than other bubble tea outlets and people still want to buy !
