Bangkok getaway - Day 2

Despite given the opportunity to sleep in, we could not. And woke up at my usual 5.30am, trying to lie in bed.

Sam also woke up early.

So we lazed u until 7.30 sin time to go for breakfast...

After breakfast, it's only still 7.30am here in Bangkok...

So took a nice paranoma view from my hotel room, children's room.

And also myself.

While waiting for time to go out, I started blogging for second day.

Planned for Siam Paragon today.

Hopefully we can also have time for terminal 21.

Plan to lunch at this Sabx2 wanton noodle place.

Followed by hair cut at Hair By Phonatip 

Had two chill out sessions at Starbucks today. Once when we stepped out which is near our hotel, 2nd time while waiting for Siam Paragon shopping centre to open.

Siam Paragon holds branded stuff like Gucci, prada, etc. equivalent to Ion Orchard.

Bought about half dozen underwear there for 40 bucks 

Next we took train to Terminal 21.

Bought a dress at promod, about sgd39

Ate Krispy Kreme original glaze on the way

27 baht = Sgd 1.10

Back at hotel 1.15pm bangkok time. Found the wanton noodle

3 bowls - 150 baht. Super small servings 

Had a hard time finding my hairdresser place, almost gave up and almost conned by a tu-tu whom claimed he knows the way when he did not.

Eventually found Phonatip and was satisfied with the Colour. And cut.

3000 baht = Sgd120

Walked back to hotel by myself after that.

We went out again to take the train to Ashok station, where we planned to do our massage.

We walked a long way to health spa and got bad news they are fully booked for the night, and the next day timing does not suit our schedule.

Sam was very disappointed and we had dinner at terminal 21.

Decided to have our first Thai meal after arrival at bangkok.

Gosh it was the most spicy meal I ever had. Poor Sam whose treshold is way much lower than mine.

After dinner Sam borrowed free wifi from terminal 21 mall and we booked another massage at Divana for the following day.

We planned to visit Erawan Museum, followed by lunch and massage.

I shopped around and did not get anything.

Took a cab back to hotel and cost us 200 baht. Bad jam at night.

We ended off our day again with foot massage near our hotel.
