Depending on what you want to do in Bangkok, there's actually alot but too little time.
On this trip, we didn't shop much. More window shopping.
There was also no particular agenda, other than just take things slow for us...
And we did.
Everything just slowed down....
We were not rushing... To buy the most number of things, not rushing to take the most number of photos. In fact I was using iPhone most times.
Not rushing for the most famous or rated foods as we were not really foodies...
We appreciate the time just alone, chill out at Starbucks, dinner at Above Eleven, Spa at Divana, our foot massages at night... Not forgetting my haircut by Phonatip....
Well today is the last day in Bangkok.
And we will take it slow before we return to the reality again.
In a foreign place, I feel to live the local way is the best to understand the place.
We took the trains, and lived like the locals.
Minus street food as I have weak stomache.
In Bangkok, it is not surprising to see small business everywhere....
Seems anyone can just find a spot and set up... Just selling stuffs from toys, clothes, pouches to food...
Streets are not clean... Nor tidy. There's air pollution and beggars...
It's always when I am overseas, I truly appreciate the orderly garden city we have in singapore, that most often, people take for granted and grumbles/complains about our government whom have done such a great job in maintaining our country...
We went out about 9.30am, had our usual dose of Starbucks.
Today we had caramel macchiato.
Waiting till Platinum opens for business but not all shops were opened.
Did our last min shopping and went back hotel to check out. Before heading back to Platinum for lunch.
We have our last serving of Mango sticky rice.
I ordered duck kway teow soup and Sam wanton noodle with crab claw.
We left our hotel around 1.40pm local time for Don Mueang international airport.
Checked in, and while waiting for flight back to singapore, I m having another cup of coffee...
Sam intend to order a black label whisky to see if it helps his phobia for the flight.
Actually the 3 glasses if whisky did not really help him.
The pilot on our budget air flight back was much better than the first.
At least he didn't hover in the air too long before the seatbelt sign went off.
Sam concluded it was the pilot that made the difference.
Still he would not never take budget flights again.
At 6.30pm, we ate the KFC zinger burger we bought.
Admiring the beautiful clouds on my flight back.
It's awesome how great God's creation is.
Missing my two darling ks now.
Can't wait to see them...
Will be a while we can go for trips without them again....
Until then.
On the way home.
Home sweet home...
