Lorong Ah Soo market

Dearie is feeling nostalgic today, so headed back to Lorong Ah Soo market to have breakfast.

Enjoyed his favourite carrot cake sticks and prawn noodles.

Tabao Nasi Lemak back for dad - There were at least 20 people in queue.
Gosh!

Walked around the neighbourhood for a while, visiting a chicken rice stall in an old coffeeshop near dearie's old house, before we went off to pick darling K up.
We used to patronise this shop everytime after swimming at the old Charlton swimming pool (where dearie taught me to swim)

My power drink this morning. Cause I really need to change my diet for the sake of getting back my health...

Phin's Steakhouse

Our 3rd and last night enjoying couple-time. Decided to go to Bugis area cause we had not been there the past year. It was extremely crowded at Bugis, as Wed was a public holiday. Decided to venture to Liang Seah Street for dinner instead.

Decided to try out Phin's steakhouse. It was pouring that night, so we quickly settled for shelter. They serve western food, something like Jack's Place. Dearie ordered steak, while I ordered Salmon (going on a strict diet). Also ordered escargot as it is one of his favourites.
Taste-wise, the escargot do not taste as good as Jack's Place or elsewhere.
Somewhat marshy.

Overall, it was still a good dinner in such a cooling weather.
At least we could slowly enjoy our food, rather than feeling rush and panicky all the time when dining with a kid.
We really wonder if we are ready for parenthood, even after two years now.

Our 2nd night enjoying couple-time. Wanted to try double bay, but we could not find the restaurant.
So finally we just settled for Aerins.

Romantic dinner by the water-feature beside us, plus candlelight.





This starter is quite good.

Fish was a little over-done, so it was dry.
Otherwise, it would be perfect.
The fries was very good surprisingly.

Dearie had the duck. He said was okay, and like the fries most with tomato sauce.
The best dish of the night: Fries. :)
